In Kakuma, Kenya, the refugee community lives with scarce water, broken pipes, and the hope of finding more. When boreholes fail, people fetch from rivers and shallow wells — and risk what is in them.
The camera stays with the work of looking: the well, the jerry can, the map in the field of where to search next. Not simply a distant officer or distant ideas.
Outcomes
A film that made Official Selection in a number of film festivals and brought much needed attention to the type of successful and much needed work that can, and should, be done to eleviate so much un-needed suffering.
